    Great quality bobblehead

    I admit it, I’m a total geek when it comes to Tesla. The two previous generations of men in my family always talked about how they wished they could have went to college for an engineering degree. They were carpenters/handymen. I was lucky enough to be able to get that engineering degree. Tesla kept me from getting bored. What a great, scientific, inventive mind.My wife bought this bobblehead for me since I’ve been able to find some vintage pieces for my home office that look like something Tesla invented. I put this bobblehead watching over the vintage pieces. Everybody that walks through the office, taps him on the head. The quality of this booblehead is as good as any I’ve seen. Nice weight to it. Good wobbly head. And if you’re trying to get the light bulb to glow in the dark, be sure to use an older lightbulb/lamp with a non-LED light to charge it. The glow in the dark feature doesn’t last long, but it does work. Considered getting another one thanks to the quality of it, but haven’t decided which one to get next.

    Tesla Rules!

    My husband is true a Tesla fan and I wanted to get him something special when I want searching for all things Tesla. I found this item and ordered it, not hoping for anything really spectacular after having collected a lot of baseball bobbleheads in the past. I was so pleasantly surprised when I received this one! The detail on the face, hair and other decorations was amazing…and the head really bobbled! (Most of the sports ones barely move when you shake them.) It has a place of honor on our stereo cabinet and I chuckle whenever I make it bobble.

    I was pleasantly surprised at how well this statue was made.. The hand-held light does glow in the dark. I love Nikola Tesla and all the benefits he gave to the entire world. If you’re on the fence regarding this purchase, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Love it!

    Poor paint job.

    The item is heavy and of good construction but the paint job leaves much to be desired. The pallor is ashen rather than flesh toned. It makes him look dead. Had it been the color of the ad in Amazon, it would have been perfect, but the photo is not the same as the item.

    This bobble has more going on than many, which is fitting given the busyness of Tesla. He was a complex fellow, and like Einstein had some radical social thoughts, including a belief that women will in future be holding the cards.I long for the day when more bobbles are made of scientists than of athletes…
